AeroSHARK is a surface film developed jointly by Lufthansa Technik and BASF based on nature. It imitates the microscopic structure of sharkskin and optimizes the air flow on the aircraft fuselage and engine nacelles.
Tasks
As part of the AeroSHARK project at Lufthansa Technik, we are offering an exciting internship for the further development of a flight mechanics modeling tool.
- Further development of a Python-based tool
- Analysis of real flight data
- Conception and implementation of own ideas to improve the modeling
- Presenting progress to the project team
- Participation in work meetings and workshops
Requirements
To complete an internship at our company, you must be at least in your third semester at the time of the internship. We would like to get to know you personally and therefore deliberately refrain from listing soft skills.
- Knowledge of aerodynamics and flight mechanics
- Experience with programming
- Enrolled for the entire period of the internship (current certificate of enrollment and written proof of the mandatory internship must be enclosed with the application)
