You will support our teams within our Finance & Controlling function – that responsible for the efficient financial management, controlling, reporting & analysis and effective financial controls which are necessary to ensure compliance, to support the business as a partner and to provide information and analysis for decision making processes. What you will enjoy doing
- As a member of the Linde Engineering Finance & Controlling team, you will support your colleagues in regular operational tasks, financial analysis, continuous improvement projects and in providing financial information to the management of the Linde Engineering Division
- You will gain insights and will be responsible for dedicated work packages in financial accounting, reporting & analysis, master data, forecasting/planning as well as tax reporting & compliance
- The tasks you will take-over will help you getting to know our Engineering business and require collaboration with various stakeholders within the organization
- Additionally, you will get a good understanding of the general set-up of a Finance & Controlling organization and of the structure of comprehensive financial projects
What makes you great
- Dedicate a minimum of six months to gain in-depth knowledge of our Finance & Controlling function at Linde Engineering
- You are a second or third-year bachelor student or master student in business administration, economics, finance, accounting or similar
- You utilize your passion for analytical thinking, data & systems, and telling a clearly structured story with the outcomes you discover
- Being part of a dynamic team and collaborating with finance stakeholders and other business functions is where you excel
- Microsoft Excel knowledge is a must, and you are excited to build your skills in Power Query/Pivot/VBA/SAP
- Fluency in English language (written and spoken) is mandatory, and knowledge in German language is of advantage
- You are willing to learn about the Engineering business on-the-job and have a keen interest in future career growth in Finance & Controlling
