DHL Global Forwarding’s Global Business Strategy Team is responsible for the development and implementation of DHL Global Forwarding’s Strategy in line with the DGF Global Forwarding Board agenda. This includes strategic planning, strategy communication as well as management of key strategic projects.
Your role
As a Strategy Communication Intern at DHL Global Forwarding you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Strategy team in executing various communication and strategic initiatives. This internship provides a unique opportunity for individuals interested in strategy and communication to gain valuable hands-on experience in project management and internal communication procedures within a dynamic and global logistics organization.
Your tasks
- Support in designing the strategy communication approach to explain DHL Global Forwarding’s strategic direction and related expectations to various stakeholder groups
- This includes the creation of engaging content such as presentations, videos, e-books, games, campaigns etc.
- Plan and promote internal and external events or meetings related to strategy communication
- Engage with various stakeholders to gather information and insights for communication purposes
- Work closely with external agencies on the creation of communication material
Your profile
- Bachelor or Master student or GAP year student (up to 1 year after Bachelor completion) with a valid work permit to do an internship in Germany.
- Above-average commitment, ability to work under pressure and flexibility
- High communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, in particular a high degree of self-motivation, goal-orientation, and can-do attitude as well as team working skills
- Strong experience in PowerPoint
- Good English communication skills
- BA or MA in communications, business administration, marketing, logistics, or similar
