We are currently hiring for an exciting opportunity as a Working Student (m/f/d) – Software Engineer to join our SIMULIA EMAG R&D Team.

The team is responsible for developing Asymptotic Solver in CST Studio Suite as well as designing new workflows to support the use of Asymptotic Solver for various applications in different domains.

Role Description Responsibilities

  • You will create realistic geometries/models which accurately represent the features of typical wireless communication scenarios
  • You will perform simulations with Asymptotic Solver to characterize the wave propagation in these scenarios
  • You will process the simulation data accordingly in order to characterize the KPIs in a wireless communication link
  • You will develop essential signal processing blocks in a transceiver

Qualifications

  • You are currently studying Electrical Engineering or Communications Engineering as a Master's student
  • You have programming experience in C/C++
  • You have solid understanding of Linear Algebra and Probability/Statistics
  • You have basic knowledge of Electromagnetic Wave Propagation and Antenna Theory
  • You have Basic knowledge of Wireless Communications or Signal Processing
  • Programming experience in Python would be a plus
