Tasks and Responsibilities

• You will investigate new biological active ingredients using state-of-the-art molecular modelling and bioinformatics approaches.
• Your area of responsibility includes the planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of molecular modelling studies in the context of formulation development and beyond.
• In the process, you will familiarise yourself with the biologics development pipeline, starting all the way from discovery to formulation development, gaining a holistic view of the processes and pain points.

Your Profile

• Master Student of pharmacy, biotechnology, biophysics, biochemistry, or comparable courses of study
• Basic understanding of the biotechnological production and formulation of biological medicines
• Basic knowledge in the structure-function relationship and the bioinformatic visualization, modelling, and simulation of proteins
• Committed, self-responsible, creative, and team-oriented way of working
• Very good English language skills in both spoken and written form

What we can offer you

• As a student intern, you can expect a fair expense allowance (payment of the currently valid minimum wage)
• You will be given 2.5 days of paid time off for every full month of the internship
• A full-time internship is 37.5 hours a week (a smaller number of hours can be arranged)
• During your master thesis you will receive an allowance of 900€ per month
• In our team we also offer you a hybrid working model in which you can work remotely several days a week!

The next entry is possible immediately for a duration of 6 months. By arrangement, we can also offer you this internship as part of a subsequent final thesis. Please enter the desired period in your application.
