As a Junior Audit Manager:in (m/w/d), the role supports the effective execution of the internal audit function across the organization. With a focus on risk-based auditing and compliance, it contributes to ensuring transparency and operational integrity. Positioned within a dynamic, international environment, the role offers valuable exposure to key governance processes and cross-functional collaboration.
What you will do
- You will support the creation and maintenance of audit guidelines and the audit manual
- You will support the ongoing risk assessment process
- You will assist in drafting the annual risk-based audit plan
- You will support defining the scope of work for audit engagements together with the audit lead
- You will gather and assess information required for the preparation of audit engagements
- You will conduct audit assurance and consulting engagements
- You will support the planning and facilitation of kick-off meetings, status updates, and exit meetings with auditees
- You will prepare audit reports
- You will monitor the implementation of action plans as part of the follow-up process for audited units
- You will support the audit quality assurance and improvement program
- You will participate in continuous professional education to maintain and develop audit competencies
What you’ll need to succeed
- Degree in economics, business administration, or law, or a related field
- Preferably professional experience in internal, external audit, compliance, risk management, internal controls or similar
- Preferably experience in analyzing business processes
- Analytical and structured thinking
- Team-focused and cooperative with good communication skills and initiative
- Intercultural competence
- Business fluent German and English
- Willingness to travel 30-50%
