The Global Procurement division is responsible for all BASF's purchasing activities worldwide. We negotiate contracts that provide BASF with tangible added value. Our focus is on the procurement of raw materials, technical goods and services as well as logistics solutions. Our comprehensive market know-how and deep understanding of value-adding chains make us a valuable partner for the operating divisions.
Responsibilities
Our Team is responsible for all operational purchasing activities for Europe and provides extensive support for the strategic side. The position is designed for a weekly workload of 20 hours.
- You are responsible for the verification of incoming order confirmations respecting our service level agreements.
- You will support us in the monitoring and processing of related e-mails from suppliers or internal stakeholders.
- You will ensure to request expected order confirmations from suppliers.
- You will gain insights into running projects and process improvement initiatives right from the start and you can actively participate in them.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's study in economics
- secure handling of MS Office applications
- fluent language skills in Spanish and English, German is a plus
- careful working methods and enjoyment of working in a team
