We drive mobility. Our People Services department is responsible for the demand-oriented and legally secure provision of services for all business travel and international personnel transfers in the field of Global Mobility. Whether national and international meetings with our BASF customers, short-term project assignments or long-term assignments abroad - our team makes employee mobility and international career paths possible.
Responsibilities
- You provide first level support to business travelers and travel arrangers on all travel related topics including BASF procedures, travel documentation requirements, the booking process and online booking tools.
- Furthermore, you assist with making travel arrangements for business travelers for domestic, regional and international travel related queries and requests.
- In this context, you take all BASF travel related requirements, policies guidelines, processes and procedures into account.
- Ensuring that the needs of the business traveler are met, you work closely with travel suppliers.
- You take care of reporting any service issues with the travel service provider to BASF Travel Services Specialist for the respective country or country cluster.
Qualifications
- vocational training or degree in travel and tourism or related fields as well as an understanding of travel operations, assistance and online booking tools
- ideally, demonstrated working relationship with travel related vendors
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English with ability to work with colleagues across different cultures and regions
- familiar with MS Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and strong presentation skills
