As a Software Engineering Intern, you'll dive into an innovative project to revolutionize how we analyze logs. You will contribute to building an AI-powered system using an agentic workflow to automate data ingestion, identify patterns, and seamlessly integrate with our specialized analysis tools. This project aims to significantly enhance analyst productivity and accelerate insights from complex data.

As a Software Engineering Intern, you will play a pivotal role in a project that integrates cutting-edge AI across our workflows to revolutionize log analysis.

Description

  • Develop Core System Functionalities: Contribute to the full-stack development (backend and potentially frontend) of our AI-powered system, including designing robust data models, integrating with processing pipelines, and building user interface elements.
  • You'll leverage our extensive log processing framework. Implement Advanced Intelligent Features: Assist in building and refining algorithms for intelligent duplicate detection, related event identification, and contextual data enrichment.
  • This includes gaining hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and contributing to cutting-edge AI validation techniques.
  • Drive Seamless API Integration: Integrate the system with internal Apple tools and facilitate robust data exchange with specialized analysis platforms, enabling an efficient agentic workflow.
  • Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with a world-class team of experienced Apple engineers, actively participating in design discussions, problem-solving, and gaining exposure to cellular testing environments.

  • Gain hands-on experience with Large Language Models
  • Integrate the system with internal Apple tools and specialized analysis platforms
  • Collaborate closely with experienced Apple engineers, participating in design discussions and problem-solving.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Master's or PhD in Computer Science or a related field with strong foundation in fundamentals including data structures and algorithms.
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python or Swift.
  • Exposure to AI/ML concepts and libraries for data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms or containerization (e.g., Docker).
  • Keen interest in cellular technologies and wireless communication.
  • Familiarity with web frameworks and/or data manipulation libraries.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving aptitude and strong learning agility, with a proactive mindset and eagerness to quickly adapt to new technologies and concepts.
