Description

  • In this student role, you will work within a segment of Apple's Engineering team that specializes on SoCs for products.
  • You will develop internal tools and scripts to increase the team's efficiency, support development processes, and understand how this work is integrated and affecting Apple's products.
  • You will also learn how to work within Apple's internal development environment and work processes.
  • We are looking for a dedicated student who loves challenges, brings the ability to learn and wants to become a part of our multi-faceted team.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • You must be enrolled as a student for the full duration of the internship.
  • You have some scripting and programming knowledge with one or more of the following: TCL, Python, Perl, and Make.
  • Your communication skills are excellent, and like the rest of us here at Apple, you love working in an open and multi-cultural environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Overall ASIC (RTL-to-GDS) design cycle understanding especially PNR/back-end analysis flow.
  • You are familiar with the Physical Design process and interested in areas like Synthesis, Place and Route (PnR) and Static Timing Analysis (STA).
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting to changing project requirements and priorities.
