The role
Are you interested in understanding how one of the largest institutional investors is investing on behalf of its policyholders and shareholders while keeping risk, return and real world impact in balance? Take the chance and join the Office of the Managing Directors of Allianz Investment Management SE as a working student.
During your time with us, you will support on a variety of projects of the Managing Director's Office, be it sustainability topics, peer group analysis, investment analysis, the organization of global events or many more. You will also get the chance to introduce your own ideas. The tasks are very widespread and will give you a great insight on how an investment function of a global and large scale investor is being run.
Key responsibilities
- Play a crucial role in strategic company projects, related to investments
- Support project ideas through research
- Contribute to strategic sustainability efforts and enhancement of sustainable investment solutions
- Get an understanding of the variety of tasks within an investment company (e.g. preparation of presentations, meetings/events, documentations)
- Support global events both from a content and an organizational perspective
- Support the alignment with our Managing Directors and the internal communication through our Allianz platform
Key requirements
- Advanced stage of your degree in Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics, Law Studies or Political Science with a very good academic performance.
- In-depth academic knowledge of, or great interest in, capital markets, alternative investments and sustainability topics
- Very strong team player, proactive, responsible and dependable
- Ability to formulate and solve problems, independent thinking
- Readiness of mind and the ability to familiarize yourself with new topics and tasks
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Curiosity for and affinity to new applications and tools
- Prior work experience through internships is a plus
- Ability to work in English (other languages are a plus)
