We are searching for an intern (m/f/d) to support our Competence Center Robotics in Germany and Kärcher Robotic Singapore for a 6-month period.
The role
- Alongside experienced experts (m/f/d), you will be familiarized with the area of software/algorithm development in an internationally operating company
- You will work in an agile software development team according to the latest software processes (SCRUM, CI/CD, Git)
- You further develop existing systems using C++ and/or other programming languages, such as Python
- You will also implement algorithms for sensor data processing on CPUs and GPUs
- In addition, you will carry out experiments on the dedicated test area on the real robot and evaluate the results
Your profile
- A good academic record in mechatronics, electrical engineering or a related course of study such as computer science, cybernetics, control engineering and automation technology
- Experiences in robotics and/or autonomous vehicles
- Proficiency in C++, Python, ROS, and Linux is essential
- Confidence to work and communicate in an international environment and to live abroad
- Fluent in English and German
- High degree of willingness to learn, enthusiasm and motivation
- Analytical skills, strong communication skills and high customer orientation and you are open to innovation and creative solutions
