Working as an Associate Project Engineer, you will be responsible for various engineering projects in Mining and Bulk Material Handling in Cottbus. In this role, you will make technical recommendations in various phases of customer projects to ensure successful delivery of project deliverables on time, within budget and in line with quality and safety guidelines.
Your responsibilities
- Assisting project managers and project lead engineers in technical reviews and discussions with customers, partners, subcontractors and vendors
- Assisting contract managers with claims, customer specifications and safety standards
- Helping customers resolve technical issues both remotely and at customer sites
- Developing your project engineering and communication skills by working on our projects
- Maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service at all stages of the project
Your background
- First experience in Project Engineering in Electrification and Energy Systems would be of advantage
- Knowledge of engineering techniques, processes and tools
- A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines
- A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies
- A collaborative team player, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Fluency in English and German
