The EDEKA association is the cooperative backbone of the EDEKA brand and one of the leading food retailers in Germany. Founded more than 110 years ago, we are connected by a commercial tradition that has been practiced for generations and modern entrepreneurial thinking and acting. We are a local supplier and at the same time a regional wholesale company, we are a producer of fresh baked goods and meat products as well as numerous own brands and a strong partner for producers from the region. With the subsidiary Netto Marken-Discount, we are also setting successful trends in the discount business and thus rounding off the wide range of services offered by the group of companies.

Without the approximately 404,900 employees, the success of the EDEKA group would not be possible. Every team member of the many thousands of EDEKA stores across Germany is extremely important in order to offer our customers a great shopping experience.
