Responsibilities
During your internship opportunity with a duration of 3-6 months, you will become acquainted with several tasks within our Crop Protection unit, giving you the chance to apply your theoretical knowledge in the daily business. BASF xarvio Digital Farming is one of the world's leading groups in delivering digital agricultural solutions.
- You will support a weed management project in terms of dataset handling.
- Dataset handling includes annotation, examination and monitoring of the drone based dataset
- For outstanding students there might be an opportunity to extend the collaboration to a Master's thesis or working student arrangement within the Data Science or Agronomy team based in Cologne, Germany
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's student in the area of IT or Agronomy
- experienced in handling IT standard applications, programming knowledge is a plus
- willingness to learn Agronomic knowledge
- strong communicational skills in English
